I was born to two immigrant parents, and raised by my mother in a single parent household. I'm an American from a Peruvian-Jamaican descent, and I am apart of the diverse culture that is Florida. I experienced the 2008 financial crisis like most kids who grew up in my generation, and since then I can say we've grew up fast and face the brunt of the our future before us. I've lived and breathed our education system attending one of Florida's historical black high schools, Blanche Ely High School and currently as an owl at Florida Atlantic University as a Philosophy Major. The political system under a republican legislature my entire life and how it doesn't represent the voice of the people; I remember how unique Florida's ecosystem like our beaches, everglades, and great lakes and how that truly makes our state great. All are experiences that live with me through fond memories of my youth and now; they have personally shaped me to be the man I am today and why I decided to fight for our state. Like many Floridians I've had the privilege of making fond memories and ,like many, I too believe that we can make equitable change to right the wrong of our state. I know what its like seeing loved ones trying to make it in America but having barriers stop them from moving forward, hurdles that slow them down, and to lose faith in a government because it feels like its not working. I want better for our people, communities, and our state. Thats why I plan on doing better than our past leaders on the fight of a vision for a greater tomorrow. Thats why I'm running to be your next State Senator.
"If something needs fixing, then lace up your shoes and do some organizing, If you’re disappointed by your elected officials, grab a clip board, get some signatures, and run for office yourself.” - 44th President of the United Sates Barack Obama

I've have experienced every part of Florida, and the parts that make our state unique need a new voice of leadership; to fight for our environment, our schools, and address the real concerns of not only the state but also our people. We need leadership to be efficient, consistent, and most of all working for change.
