EDUCATION

EDUCATION

Education is a fundamental right to all Floridians. We currently rank at 41st in the nation in per student spending, and as tax payers we foot the bill for charter schools which only have a 30% success rate and 70% are completely shutdown in the end. Addressing how much we invest in our youth and where that money goes is a top priority if we plan to stay competitive within the education sector nationally. Steven plans on assuring the right to a proper education for all current and future generations by raising the spending per student because it is the key to Floridians educational success. Protecting our youth from the injustice system that is our criminal justice system is pivotal for our youth to live meaningful lives in the future. We can't remove the stigma of crime but we can protect them from being apart of it, Steven plans on introducing a state wide youth recidivism program which will lower costs on the tax payer and give kids a second chance to live real lives in their future to come without having to face the reality of jail.

HOUSING

The Florida housing market is essential to our states funding, but it is also necessary to protect those assists not only for our state but for you the consumer. Housing is limited, expensive, and sometimes outdated in cases of natural disasters, which can cause significant problems in the longterm for our economy. The rental market is continuously growing while homeownership falls, and so it is important to address housing conditions and emergency management for all. Steven's proposal of a Tenants Bill of Rights will secure consumer rights, and even the playing field for all while benefiting tenants, landlords, and homeowners. Addressing our housing safety standards will prevent our communities from failing during natural disasters which plague our state and you the tax payer. Steven plans on starting the conversation because not only will it save all Floridians but protect us too.

Florida's unique and beautiful environmental landscape generates billions in revenue for state and businesses. You the consumer are entitled to the benefits they provide and it's up to us to protect our precious resources and sustain our ecosystems for all who live here. Steven will address sea level rise and pollution which threaten our communities, our indigenous animals welfare, and bring big corporations to justice so they can fix the problems they have caused to Florida, not the tax payer. Steven will work to set safe environmentally friendly agricultural standards for the state to ensure that those problems don't persist and are still available for generations to come so they can enjoy the Florida we know and love. When we fix these issues we all win the war that has been waged on Floridians environment which plagues  our Florida of today for Floridians of tomorrow.

HEALTH CARE

Health care plays a vital roll in the sunshine state, whether it be in assisting our senior citizens or caring for your loved ones at a moments notice; we all deserve a proper health care system. High costs are at the source of people denying themselves a proper one. Steven plans on proposing a global payment system in our public healthcare sector which will minimize the cost and bring the power back to the consumers. By allowing the state to cap certain costs within the public health sector, while still providing a sustainable and efficient health care system, will change the dynamics of how we all can access an affordable healthy life.

TRANSPORTATION

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation in the state of Florida has become not only difficult to navigate but time consuming as well to Floridians. Investing in environmental energy friendly public transportation will redefine the way Florida moves. Introduction of a railway system has already started in south Florida, but the state needs it more now than ever. As tax payers we have a right to move freely and not be burdened by high costs to do so. By supporting a state or private railway system, while also capping costs, will save us time and money in transportation. We don't need more highways we need more publicly accessible transportation, controlled by the public.

YOU!

Your voice is your right and your vote, and when its not heard, we're not heard. Steven will be a representative that not only speaks for our state, but the people he represents. Your voice is so much more important to addressing the issues we all face as Floridians. We need a proper representative that not only speaks for you but listen to you too. A representative that represents our people, communities, and state in a way that reflects them is needed NOW more than ever. Steven is fighting to be your State Senate Rep. to fight the good fight and allow us to finally be heard the way we should be heard and to lift the voices that felt like they could never speak. Everyone has a voice, our ecosystems have a voice, and especially YOU!
